As soon as it is turned on on the course, it acquires the signal within a few seconds and automatically identifies the course without any manual selection. It then detects the current hole based on your position and automatically moves to the next hole as you progress. Practically, how do you use the VC4 during a round?

Power on: hold the Power button (back of the device) before reaching tee 1 to allow GPS synchronization. The VC4 announces battery level and then automatically recognizes the course. Meters/yards selection: long press the − button to switch units — only needed once at first use. Distance to green: 1 click for the center, 2 clicks for front and back. Slope enabled.” if data is available, or “Slope disabled.” otherwise — in which case distances are straight-line only.

What is the battery life?
